AUGMENTIN ES SUSPENSION is used to manage bacterial infections such as middle ear and sinus infections, respiratory tract infections, genital tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections such as dental infections, bone and joint infections, septic abortion (any abortion complicated by uterine infection), and abdominal infections. The symptoms of a bacterial infection may include fever, difficulty breathing, pus formation, and pain.
It contains a combination of medicines called, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It works by preventing the growth of bacteria and helps clear up the infection.
Do not take AUGMENTIN ES SUSPENSION if you have a history of hypersensitivity to beta-lactams, including penicillin and cephalosporins, or any other ingredients of this medicine. It is not recommended for use if you have a history of amoxicillin-clavulanate-associated jaundice or hepatic dysfunction.
Before taking AUGMENTIN ES SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you are suffering from hepatic or renal impairment. This medicine should be used with caution in pregnant women and only when necessary.
In breastfeeding women, it should be used with caution. AUGMENTIN ES SUSPENSION should be used with caution in children (aged below 12 years) and elderly patients (above 50 years).
The common side effects associated with the use of AUGMENTIN ES SUSPENSION are diarrhea, thrush (a fungal infection in the vagina, skin folds, or mouth), nausea, and vomiting. Contact your doctor immediately if any of the symptoms worsen.

Augmentin tabletsare a clinically proven, first-in-class antibacterial combination therapy for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to augmentin. The tablets, which are blue--, white-trical and contain a combination of folic acid and potassium salts known as amoxicillin trihydrate, are effective against the bacteria.
Augmentin tablets are available in a range of strengths, including two-tablet capsules, 5g - 10g strengths, and tablets 4 - 8.8mg. Tablets 4.8mg and 5mg are more than two and four times stronger medications, respectively, than augmentin 5mg.
Augmentin tablets are a clinically proven combination medicine and are available both as a generic and as a brand medication. Both medicines contain the same active component, augmentin and trihydrate, and have the same molecular weight, and absorption rate, and are both effective against bacteria that are both in the bacterial cell wall. However, statistically, three- to four-fold more effectiveness is provided by the generic Augmentin than by the branded medication. Augmentin 625mg duo tablet is a combination of Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat certain bacterial infections such as middle ear and sinus infections, sinus and middle ear infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections (UTI), skin and soft tissue infections, including dental infections, and bone and joint infections. Do not take this medicine if you have or have had a history of hypersensitivity (swelling in the face or throat and skin rashes), liver conditions, or jaundice.
Consult your doctor if you need clarification before starting the Augmentin 625mg duo tablet. Notify your doctor if you are planning to have a blood test related to RBC status, liver function test, or urine test because this medicine can affect the result of these tests. Do not consume this medicine if you are allergic to Amoxycillin, Clavulanic acid, Penicillins, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. What this medicine is and what it is used forAugmentin is indicated for: Treatment of the following: Treatment of acute bacterial exacerbations of bronchitis (purple), acute community-acquired pneumonia (blue or green), acute uncomplicated pyelonephritis (yellow-green), acute or chronic renal failure, acute or chronic bacterial sinusitis, acute or chronic prostatitis, acute bacterial sinusitis caused by Escherichia coli, acute bacterial tonsillitis, acute bacterial genital tract infections, community-acquired pneumonia, acute uncomplicated skin and soft tissue infection caused by Escherichia coli.
Oral: 125 mg twice daily for 7 days. Swallow with a glass of water. May be taken with or without food. May be taken with or without food as long as the dose is stable.
